Petition for the Amendment of the rules for Prepaid Retail Electric Service Using a Prepaid Metering System, Approved by the Honorable Energy Regulatory Commission in ERC Resolution No. 15, Series of 2009 [Archive-200]

The Commission takes note of the “Motion for Clarification” filed by Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) on June 27, 2012 praying that an Order be issued clarifying that its proposed customer notification via Short Messaging Service (SMS) is a viable alternative to an In House Display (IHD) and is compliant with the Commission’s Resolution No. 15, Series of 2009 or the “Rules for Prepaid Retail Electric Service Using a Prepaid Metering System”.

Relative thereto, a hearing is hereby set on September 18, 2012 (Tuesday) at two o’clock in the afternoon (2:00P.M.) at the ERC Hearing Room, 15th Floor, Pacific Center Building, San Miguel Avenue, Pasig City.
