The Energy Regulatory Commission is pleased to inform you that it will conduct a Continuing Regulatory Education for the Stakeholders (CREST) Good Corporate Governance seminar for the Mindanao ECs’ Board of Directors (BoDs) on
July 15, 2015 (Wednesday) in Davao City for Regions XI and XII, and
July 22, 2015 (Wednesday) in Cagayan de Oro City for Regions IX and X. This seminar intends to enhance the ECs’ regulatory compliance and increase awareness of ERC’s policies, and promote good corporate governance and social responsibility. Please see attached as
Annex A the program of activities. This training program is conducted pursuant to ERC
Resolution No. 01, Series of 2004 entitled A Program to Promote Good Corporate Governance in Distribution Utilities.
An EC’s BoD must be represented by Directors who hold the President, Treasurer and Audit Positions. This ERC CREST program for the Mindanao ECs members of the BoDs is being coordinated by the ERC Planning & Information Service (PIS) Public Information Division (PID) with the Acting Area-1 Manager of South Cotabato 1 Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SOCOTECO-1)
