Notice for Comments, ERC Case No. 2022-006 RM, In the Matter of the Adoption of the Resolution Amending Resolution No. 07. Series of 2021 Entitled “Amendments to the Pre-emptive Mitigating Measure in the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM)”

Notice is hereby given that on 16 June 2022, the Commission approved for posting in its official website at www.erc.gov.ph its proposed amendments to Resolution No. 07, Series of 2021, entitled “Amendments to the Pre-emptive Mitigating Measure in the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM)” to be known as the 2022 Secondary Price Cap (SPC) Mechanism, for comments from the industry stakeholders.

All interested parties may submit their comments on the proposed 2022 SPC Mechanism (in both hard and soft copies) using the prescribed format (hereto attached as Annex “A”) on or before 23 June 2022. Electronic copies may be sent to spotmarket@erc.ph.

The proposed 2022 SPC Mechanism may be downloaded at our website www.erc.gov.ph or may be photocopied at cost, at the ERC Main Office at 12th Floor, Pacific Center, San Miguel Avenue, Pasig City,

All comments, written or oral, received by the Commission shall be made part of the record of the rule-making proceeding and shall be considered in the finalization of the 2022 SPC Mechanism.
